Possibilities of Histological Analysis Using Digital Microscopy

Abstract

In the study, high-precision whole-slide scanning digital microscopes equipped with high-resolution CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) sensor systems were used. All samples were digitized through automated scanning, and the resulting images were accurately annotated by pathologists. These images were then analyzed using artificial intelligence–based algorithms. It should be noted that proper annotation of slides is a crucial step in developing AI (Artificial Intelligence) models, and this process is often considered a factor that complicates analysis.
