Priority Directions for Developing Small Business and Private Entrepreneurship in the Process of Transition to a Green Economy

This article provides a theoretical and practical analysis of the strategic role of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in ensuring sustainable economic development in the modern economy. Based on global experience, the study highlights the sector’s contribution to gross domestic product, employment, and innovative activity, and evaluates the effectiveness of support mechanisms in the context of Uzbekistan. Based on the findings, institutional recommendations aimed at promoting small business development have been proposed.
