This scientific thesis deeply analyzes the role and significance of social and humanitarian sciences in the development of the national economy. In today’s globalization conditions, the economic development of any state depends not only on industry, finance, and technology but also directly on the social consciousness, cultural level, civic position, and moral values of the population. From this perspective, social and humanitarian sciences – sociology, psychology, economics, political science, law, philosophy, history, and cultural studies – create a healthy foundation for economic reforms by shaping the intellectual and spiritual environment in society. With the help of these sciences, modern economic thinking, innovative approaches, critical thinking, and labor culture are developed among the population. This, in turn, serves as an important factor in increasing labor productivity, developing small and medium-sized businesses, widely introducing innovations, and strengthening economic competitiveness.
