The article considers the concept of the green economy as an important tool in addressing global environmental and socio-economic challenges. The period from 2019 to 2024 is analyzed through statistical data reflecting the growth of investments in green technologies, the development of renewable energy sources, and the creation of new jobs. The advantages of transitioning to a green economy for national development—such as economic growth, social transformation, and improvement of the environmental situation—are described. Key challenges, including insufficient financing, the need for political will, and technical barriers, are also discussed. Particular attention is paid to the importance of civic participation and educational initiatives in the process of economic transformation. The sustainable future of the green economy is seen not only as a reality but also as a necessity for ensuring the well-being of future generations.”
