Abstract

In the context of global energy consumption growth and worsening environmental conditions, the issue of energy efficiency in the design of engineering systems is becoming increasingly relevant. This article is dedicated to exploring the principles and methods for improving energy efficiency in the design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, and power supply systems.

The article discusses key concepts and regulatory requirements related to energy efficiency, as well as the economic justification for the use of energy-saving technologies. It describes approaches to optimizing design and implementing modern technologies such as system automation and the use of renewable energy sources.
