Abstract

During our observation, 10 patients of different ages and genders with pharyngeal tonsil hypertrophy were studied. The examinations were conducted at the Chemistry University Hospital under the Tashkent International University of Chemistry. The selected patients had undergone adenotomy surgery after ineffective conservative therapy. Their general blood test results, complaints, and medical histories were analyzed. The allergy index (AI) was also studied using a special formula. Normally, it ranges from 0.68 to 1.08. However, in patients with allergies, it can rise to 2.37 or higher. The index for calculating allergization was determined using the following formula:
(Lymphocytes + 10) × (Eosinophils + 1) / (Neutrophils + Monocytes).
