During our observation, 10 patients of different ages and genders with pharyngeal tonsil hypertrophy were studied. The examinations were carried out at the Chemistry University Hospital under the Tashkent International Chemistry University. The selected patients underwent adenotomy surgery after ineffective conservative therapy. General blood analysis indicators, patient complaints, and medical histories were studied. The allergization index (AI) was also assessed using a special formula. The normal range is 0.68–1.08, while in patients with allergies, it increases to 2.37 or higher. The index for calculating allergization was determined using the formula: (Lymphocytes + 10) × (Eosinophils + 1) / (Neutrophils + Monocytes). Out of 10 patients, 3 were boys and the rest were girls. Among the examined patients, 2 were infants aged 1 to 3 years, 6 were preschool children aged 3 to 6 years, and 3 were school-aged children from 7 to 12 years old. All patients provided samples during a healthy state, with no signs of inflammation observed at the time of testing. All analyses and clinical data were entered into a special program developed for physicians — “Accurate Assessment of Adenoid Vegetation in Patients” — and were carefully studied.
